Everybody Loves Raymond star Sawyer Sweeten who was just weeks away from his 20th birthday has taken his own life, his family said in a statement Thursday
The former child star was best known for playing the role of Geoffrey Barone on the TV show from 1996, when he was just 16 months old, until it ended in 2005. Sawyer's brother and twin Sullivan Sweeten was also on the show as Michael Barone along with their sister, Madylin Sweeten who played the role of Ally Barone
Sawyer reportedly shot himself while at his family's home in Texas, according to the BBC
"This morning a terrible family tragedy has occurred," his family said. "We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer Sweeten, took his own life. He was weeks away from his 20th birthday. Read more...
